Cyclone Club Weekend
Join us September 20-22, 2024, in Ames!
Hopefully, you have marked your calendar and plan to return to Iowa State to reconnect with your Pi Kapp Brothers. Whether you have season tickets to games or haven't been back to campus since you graduated, this is a weekend you won’t want to miss. It's been a while since we've held a large alumni event so this is your excuse to get back to campus. The chapter is excited to connect with their alumni brothers.
Please RSVP to Brett Toresdahl or historian James Thurnau by August 31, 2024. The suggested fee for the weekend is $50 per person (kids are free), which will cover the cost of food and the tailgate. Venmo: @brett-toresdahl-1.

Get a tour of the house and meet up with brothers that you haven’t seen in years.
Make evening plans on your own with other alumni.
Saturday, September 21, 2024
Tailgate | 9:30 a.m. | Near Scheman Building
There will be food and beverages (BYOB), and Brother Tony Bonenkamp (AO 761) has agreed to provide live music during the tailgate. It should be a festive event. To the alums who already gather at games with other Pi Kapps, let’s plan to join all the tailgates together on that day gathering at the tent.
Iowa State vs. Arkansas State Football Game | 1 p.m. | Jack Trice Stadium
Meet back at the tailgate tent after the game.

Brunch | 11 a.m. | Chapter House
Conclude the weekend by meeting more of the undergraduate members
and sharing stories about the 'Good Ole Days'.
Game Tickets
A limited number of game tickets have been purchased, so please request them from Brett ($75 each) or purchase them directly from the Iowa State Ticket office.
Hotel Room Block
A small block of rooms has been set aside for Pi Kappa Phi Alumni at the Comfort Inn & Suites, 603 S 16th St, Ames, IA 50010. A rate of $289 has been reserved. The Comfort Inn is within walking distance of the stadium and Rieman Gardens. Cold Creek links is next to the hotel for any golfers interested. Book your room by August 20, 2024.
